locally grown healthy foods, supporting regional producers. every Visit Tuesdays from
mid-May to October, 3-6pm, for fresh, organic produce within a 100-mile radius of
Florence. Connect on Facebook for updates and recipes, making the most of

Yachats
Every Sunday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM — Yachats Farmers Market
The market is open from 9 am to 2 pm every Sunday through October at its
traditional location on West Fourth Street just off U.S. Highway 101. The market will
offer produce, plants, meats, smoked cheeses and mushrooms, along with pottery,
jewelry, glass and metal art, handmade soaps and more. Well-behaved dogs are
allowed – but “no biting, no fighting.”

Ann Jensen is a well known Master Gardener that has been providing her greens to the
finest local restaurants. Part of the August Yachats River Valley Farm Tour since its
inception. She is now offering her fresh veggies fresh picked direct from the farm!

August 1st, 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM — Yachats Big Band
On the First Thursday of every month Yachats Big Band plays at the Yachats Commons
at 7:00 PM. Yachats Big Band is a 17 piece ensemble that specializes in Swing Era
Music. Come dance or listen to this incredible performance as they light up the stage in
our cozy little town!

August 15th, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM — Lions Club Lunch Bunch
Yachats Lions Club will be hosting the community favorite LUNCH BUNCH, every
3rd Thursday of the month. Lunch Bunch will take place at the Lions Club, doors
open at 11:30, and lunch will start around 12 noon. $5 per person suggested
donation.

Siletz

August 9th — 11th, 2024 — Annual Nesika Illahee Pow-wow
The Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians hosts and invites all to come join & celebrate
the annual Nesika Illahee Pow-Wow.  The celebration takes place in the heart of the
Siletz reservation in the town of Siletz, Oregon. Every summer during the second
weekend in August, Native & Non-Native people from all over the United States &
further gather here to take part in the annual Nesika Illahee Pow-Wow.

Newport

Discover the perfect blend of creativity, relaxation, and enjoyment at Artsea Craftsea.
They offer a wide variety of activities for all ages, including pottery painting with options
ranging from Christmas trees to planters, as well as an extensive selection of home
decor items such as figurines, mugs, dishes, large decorative bowls and platters; all of
the planters include a small plant, and their lanterns include a battery operated tea light.
They also offer glass painting, and a planting station that you can plant your plants at
without buying all of the supplies yourself. They have finished pots and plants for sale.
Additionally, they provide canvas painting classes, kids camps, storytime with a craft
included, adult paint nights for a fun night out with friends or colleagues; fundraising
opportunities; and team events that promote team-building. Visit them at 4909 S Coast
Hwy in South Beach OR (they are located in the Newport Business Plaza, just south of
the Yaquina Bridge in Newport) their operating hours: Wednesday from 12pm-6pm,
Friday from 12pm-8pm, Saturday & Sunday from 12pm-4pm.
