February 8th through 10th — Oregon King Tides

Winter has arrived, and with it, the 2025 King Tides, one of nature’s most spectacular displays. These tides, known scientifically as perigean spring tides, occur when the gravitational pull of the Moon and Sun align to create the highest water levels of the year. View them from the from all around Heceta Head Lighthouse!

February 14th through 16th — Wine, Chowder & Glass Float Trail

Explore the coastal delights of Florence during our annual Wine, Chowder, and Glass Float Trail! Hosted by the Florence Area Chamber of Commerce, this event promises a weekend of exquisite tastes, artistic wonders, and hidden treasures.

February 15th and 16th — A Taste of Art & Wine Festival

Experience local artists' creations and sample tantalizing wines at A Taste of Art & Wine Festival. This two day event will feature displays of local art and a variety of wines to sample and purchase. Admission is free, but wine glasses and tickets will need to be purchased in order to try the wines on hand. While perusing the offerings, choose your favorite art piece for the juried art show and People's Choice award. Judges will award cash prizes to the best artwork. A 10% portion of vendor sales and 25% of the juried art sales will be donated for the benefit of the FRAA Arts Center.
