October 1, 8, & 15 — Yachats Farmers Market
Each Sunday from 9 AM to 2 PM (through mid-October), the farmers market is set up
behind and beside the Yachats Commons. It’s full of fresh produce and food products,
plus artisans, vendors, and artists.
October 13 and 14, 2023 — Dark Days Music Festival
Yachats is staging a music festival for the Annular Solar Eclipse on October 13th and
14th. Come greet the solar eclipse where it will first meet the North American continent!
There will be a lineup of local and international musical artists featured at the Yachats

October 14, 2023 — Solar Eclipse
An annular (or “ring of fire”) solar eclipse will occur along a
narrow path of annularity in Oregon. To experience the “ring of fire” phase of the
eclipse, you must be located within this path, with the annularity lasting the longest at
the centerline. It will be visible from the Heceta Lighthouse B&B at 9:16 AM, so be sure
to wear protective eyewear!
October 20-22, 2023 — Yachats Mushroom Festival
Come join the mycology enthusiasts at Yachats’ famous mushroom festival! Visit the
Yachats Commons for identification tables, hands-on experiences, workshops, and
